Mr Parmenter's Buckler MG

Where is this car now ? Photo supplied by J.Offord, Panel Beater. The car is shown after the completion of the aluminium body at the premises of Dawes and Offord, panelling craftsmen, attached to the Buckler premises in Crowthorne, Berkshire. Mr Offord says that the chassis was a special one produced by Bucklers to accept Mr Parmenter's special MG engine, reputed to have been produced by the MG Car Company for a series of speed tests. The car was sent on for trimming and painting but at that time Mr Parmenter was taken ill and nothing has been heard or seen of the car since. Year unknown but probably mid to late 1950's.
