AF Rivers Fletcher
The BB (that was it's correct name), standing for
Buckler Bultaco.
As you may know, it was originally built with a Bultaco
engine.
In order to "distance" it from it's Karting origins (
the hill climb brigade were getting really p'd off with
Karts beating very expensive racing cars ), Rivers
started calling the car the Buckler Ballamy.
Leslie Ballamy helped design the chassis, and the car
was re-engined with a 650cc Triumph engine. Could it
have been a Triumph Starmaker?
